Unplanned downtime often starts with something small—a loose cable, a worn part, or missed maintenance. Left unchecked, these small issues can snowball into major failures. Our scheduled inspections catch problems early and keep your equipment running smoothly.

Each visit includes a thorough inspection guided by a comprehensive checklist specifically tailored to your Car-O-Liner products. At the end of the visit, you’ll receive a detailed printed Inspection Report for your records, ensuring complete transparency and documentation of your equipment’s condition.

Flexible plans to fit your shop.

Choose an inspection schedule that works for you—every 6 or 12 months. With an annual inspection agreement, you’ll also receive discounted rates on every visit and on service parts.

  4. Check C-Arm Retainer Tension
  5. Tighten all bolts to specification
    1. Check torque in transformer Allen bolts
  6. Check machine set to proper voltage
  7. Verify Current Calibration and Recalibrate if Necessary
  8. Verify temperature measurements
  9. Check Coolant Condition & Level; Flush and Replace if Necessary (Coolant not included in price)
  10. Measure coolant flow
  11. Attach all C-Arms to check for leaks at distributor blocks
  12. Inspect main power cord
  13. Inspect electrical plug
    1. Tighten connections
  14. Test welder squeeze pressure
  15. Check piston electrode movement
  16. Check C-Gun black front cover and spring
  17. Lubricate C-Gun air chambers
  18. Test welder squeeze pressure (again)
  19. Check gun swivel ring threads, replace handle with knob, lubricate ball bearings
  20. Inspect welding cable to gun connector
  21. Check hood for missing screws
  22. Inspect electrode o-rings and replace as needed
  23. Check electrode cooling tubes
  24. Change welder air filter
  25. Install longer screws in handle plate
  26. Change electrode box label if needed
  27. Test welding current output
  28. Perform Check EL
  29. 40 test welds
  30. Check Supply of replacement weld caps (additional cost)
  31. Check for welder dust cover present (additional cost if desired)
